80 Acres in Northern California
located off the coast in MENDOCINO, CA
Liz of Sister Spinster found this land before the winter rains. It's main meadow was shamefully left unattended by the previous tenants. They left a lot of trash. Liz in her big-hearted nature saw beyond the wound of human garbage and became an invitation to her community to come play and heal the land. I heard the call and my gang of bleeders (and our partners) came running in to get our hands dirty and pick up the trash.
Beyond the meadow is so much raw beauty.
The Earth is one of our greatest teachers. Her wild nature reminds us of our own expanse. Sitting in communion with her creates so many pathways for growth, connection, healing, attuning, adventure, and internal quiet.
This 80 Acres of land off the coast of northern California offers so many avenues of exploration. There are several ponds with yellow pond lilies and lively night time chirping frogs-- who provide an evening soundscape that will lull you into a blissful dreamscape. There are tiny little nooks to bask in or marsh to venture through. So many wild edibles and medicinal plants to meet, and because of this rainy season everything is lush. Birds and wild flower galore, you will have your fill of re-wilding your spirit for sure.
Plus the sky. There are so many stars. We sat for a while in reverence looking up, making wishes on so many shooting stars. Give thanks for this land.
I'll let this amazing land speak through Zen's camera, check out the photos below to see:
